MIND STILLING TECHNIQUE

There are times when you are getting worked up.
Here is a Mind Stilling Technique when you need a breather to clear your mind.

* Say definitely and clearly to yourself "STOP".
(A very efficient thought stopping technique).
* Breathe deeply. Hold for the count of 1. As you breathe out release the tension in your shoulders and your fingers by pushing your shoulders DOWN and stretching your fingers WIDE.
* YAWN and breathe deeply again. Do not hold, but breathe out slowly through your unclenched teeth and parted lips. Be sure your shoulders and hands are still relaxed.
* Take three more gentle breaths, breathing out easily and keeping your eyes perfectly still but at ease. Practice this sequence then use it when necessary to calm your mind and control your breathing. When you do this there will be:-
* Reduced Tension
* Less anger
* Less anxiety
* Less feeling of ``hurry''
  and a
* Clarity of mind you did not think possible.
